Yvonne R. (nee Krostag) Tenke passed on to her eternal life on June 9th, 2026 at her home with family at her side.

She was born December 10th, 1940, in Marshfield, WI. She was the fourth of seven children born to the late Arnold and Erna (Hagen) Krostag. She was married to Julius J Tenke of Waukesha, WI, for nearly 46 years before his passing in 2008.

Yvonne is survived by her child, daughter, Pamela (Sean) Walsh of Waukesha, WI; and two granddaughters, Justina and Jaeda Walsh.

Yvonne is survived by her sisters, Donna Schultz and JoAnne Clausen, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Erna Krostag; her sisters, Carol and Elizabeth (Betty); and brothers, Arnold (Arnie) and Charles (Chuck). Also, her recent partner, Paul Nett of Weyauwega, WI, with whom she spent 13 wonderful and happy years.

Yvonne loved to "travel" through her reading of books her entire life and spent most of her years working in the health care field in various roles. Gardening was also a joy to her. She will be remembered for her carefree spirit and smile that uplifted many who knew her.

Yvonne's wishes were to be cremated with no public visitation or service. Her family will honor this request. The Cremation Society of Waukesha is serving the family.
