Victor G. Enge

September 28, 1950 — April 30, 2021

Victor Glen Enge of Muskego, Wisconsin passed away April 30, 2021 at the age of 70 surrounded by his loving family. Vic never took the easy route in life and that held true as he fought bravely and with such bold courage in his battle with cancer; which sadly led to his passing. Vic lived a vibrant and adventurous life spending time with family near and far. Big or small, nothing in his life was worth missing and everywhere he went was trailed with sarcasm, laughter, talk of motorcycles, grandkids, one liners and of course a hint of inappropriate banter. Vic was the life of the party and he never knew a stranger. He made everyone feel known, needed and so loved no matter how long he had known you. He was born September 28, 1950 in Baraboo, Wisconsin to Sidney and Ferne Enge. Vic attended Brookfield Central Highschool from 1965-1967, Sauk- Prairie Highschool from 1967-1968 and shortly after enlisted in the US Army where he served for 3 years 1968-1971 receiving honors that included; Vietnam Service Medal w/ 1 Bronze Service Star, Vietnam Army Comodation Medal, and Expert Rifle. After his time in the service he spent the better half of his life working for MasterLock in Milwaukee, WI where he met his wife, Anita Enge. They share four children: Jessica Enge, Jeremy (Danielle) Gullickson, Heather (Chris) Buelow, and Justin (Daina) Enge and 10 precious grandchildren. He exuded such joy when he spent time with each one of his grandchildren. After he retired from MasterLock with 32 years of service , he went back to school where he graduated at MMI in Phoenix, AZ as Motorcycle Mechanic specializing in Harley-Davidsons. He loved everything about motorcycles, from riding them to taking them apart and rebuilding them. It was his greatest pleasure to be around people who shared the same passion. Over the last few years, Vic found community with his FTW-WI brothers where he felt at home and a sense of belonging. Vic lived a life filled with acts of quiet service for others and with a generous heart where no one was below his radar. He loved to travel all over the US on his motorcycle with Anita, his brother John (Mary) and lifelong friends visiting monuments along with his siblings and all his sweet nieces and nephews. He cherished the time with each of them. Vic left a legacy of grit, compassion and a few simple rules to live by. ● Remember marriage isn't built on love, it’s built on commitment and work. ● Never wake up to yesterday's mess. ● When in doubt say “I learned that in Nam” ● Live today like it’s your last. He was a true friend and adventurer! He made every bad day good and every good day better. Vic never put anything above his family and he truly had individual relationships with each of his beautiful children. Of all the energy he put out into the world he gave his family tenfold. This loss is devastating to so many and his family finds peace in knowing they will see him again. We celebrate his life by truly connecting with those around us. He is survived by Anita Enge; their four children and their ten grandchildren. His brothers and sisters, Dennis (Saran) Enge, Kay Blakeman, John (Mary) Enge, and Mary Pheifer. Celebration of Life open house will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 4-8pm at the family home of his beloved brother and best friend John (Mary) Enge, 12990 W Prospect Dr. New Berlin, WI 53151.
