It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Thomas Espland, who left this world on September 14, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on September 29, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tom was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend.

Tom was the cherished son of the late Marshall and Arlene Espland, preceded in death by his father, his sister, Susie, and his stepson, Timothy. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Sharon, who was his constant companion and greatest supporter. Together, they built a loving family that includes stepchildren: Tina Humpa (Thomas), Angela Lindstadt (Tim), and Mindy Elliott (Patrick). Tom is also survived by his brother, Bob Espland (Sue), and brothers-in-law: Glenn Dlugi, Jim Dlugi (Linda), and Dale Dlugi.

A man whose heart knew no bounds, Tom was a proud grandfather to 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. His family was the centerpiece of his world, and he took immense joy in being a part of their lives, supporting and guiding them with wisdom and kindness.

Tom spent many years working in various factories, a testament to his strong work ethic and dedication. Later in life, he found his true passion in managing apartment buildings, a role in which he thrived, bringing his warmth and integrity to every interaction.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tom was a man of simple joys. He was an avid angler and golfer, finding peace and camaraderie on the water and the greens. His love for the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers was well-known among friends and family, and his spirited cheers will be dearly missed.

The essence of Tom’s life was his unwavering love for those around him. His infectious laughter and generous spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he met. As a family, we will forever cherish the memories and lessons he imparted.

In accordance with his wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Tom’s life.

Tom will be missed by all, gone but never forgotten.
