Terrence “Terry” Halmstad, age 83, passed away on April 11, 2026.

He was a husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

For 50 years, he was married to his wife, Mary Karen.

He is survived by his children: son, Andrew (Angela) and their daughter, Sophia; daughter, Karyn and her daughters, Marie and Dana; son, Matthew (Erica) and their children, Jack and Anna; and son, Mark (Caroline).

Terry will be remembered for his intelligence, steadfastness, and loyalty. His legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 10am on Friday at St. Dominic's located at 18255 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53045 with a Memorial Service to follow at 11am that will also be live streamed on StDominic.net.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Relief Services.

He will be missed.
