Susan Ruth Jacobson

Susan R. Jacobson died early Friday morning, March 8, 2019 surrounded by her immediate family in care of Angel’s Grace Hospice, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. In May 1940, Sue was born at home in Iron River, Michigan to Walter and Mary Pucyloski. She had two older sisters, Doris and Betty. In 1959, Sue lived in Chicago, Illinois, but on a trip to visit friends in Milwaukee, she met Lawrence Jacobson. Larry visited Sue in Chicago, and they fell in love. Sue and Larry got married then moved to Milwaukee Wisconsin. They had one daughter, Theresa, and two sons, Glen and Michael. Sue worked in real estate, liked gardening, reading, working crossword puzzles, and listening to music. She was very social and outgoing; a free spirit and happy soul. She enjoyed playing cards and games with her family and friends, but especially liked playing cribbage. She loved marshmallow Peeps, coffee flavored Nips, green apple Jolly Rancher hard candies, ribs and sauerkraut, snacking on Cheetos, and eating a slice of key lime pie or homemade cookies for desert. Sue is survived by her husband, three children, grandson Matthew, and her granddaughter Meredith. She loved all of her family dearly. Sue chose cremation. Her family and friends will have a memorial mass at Saint Matthias Parish on May 24.
