Susan Kaercher

Kaercher, Susan Jean March 16, 1957 – June 7, 2022 On June 7th, 2022, Susan Jean Kaercher of Elkhorn, WI, passed gracefully in her home with family by her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 30 years, Todd; children: Amy, Lindsay, Erica, and Ben; grandchildren: Kelsey, Amaya, Ethan, Natasha, Ava, Gabriella, and Kiera; sisters: Sandy (Steve) Smith, Cindy Norris, Becky (Jamison) Thompson, Donna (Dickey) (Edward) Villella, and brother Paul (Patty) Dickey; as well as her nieces and nephews. Sue was a quiet, eloquent, and compassionate person who was fully devoted to her family. She loved all things nature, animals, gardening, sewing, crafting, and home building. Sue enjoyed many facets of life from riding Harleys in South Dakota to caring for lions, tigers, and bears at Valley of the Kings Sanctuary. Sue had an incredible way of helping those in need. No matter how big or small the gesture- she was there. She was, and continues to be, an example of grace, generosity, and spirit for us all. A private service will be held for immediate family members. The family wishes and sends a thank you to Candy (Aurora Hospice) for her care, compassion, and tenderness.
