Milwaukee, WI, and Mesa, AZ

Susan was born at McClellan AirForce Base in California and raised in Wisconsin. After living in Arizona for 25 winters, she recently returned to Wisconsin to be with her kids.

A graduate of Holy Angels High School, Susan worked as a bookkeeper for various organizations. Prior to retirement, she worked at a senior services agency in Mesa, Arizona, matching community volunteers with senior citizens. An advocate for four-legged friends, Susan fostered and then (of course) adopted several senior dogs.

Susan is preceded in death by her dear parents, Gilbert and Helen (Style) Schilz and the goodest girl ever, Babe the dog. She is survived by her loving sons, David (Kerry) and Michael; her devoted sister, Mary (Bart) Nollenberger, who flew through the night to be with her; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

A private service will take place in Arizona at a later date.
