Susan Beatrice Cardone

October 4, 1957 — August 1, 2021

Susan Beatrice Cardone (nee Sylvester) of Brookfield passed away after an illness on August 1, 2021, at the age of 63. She was born in Milwaukee on October 4, 1957, the daughter of Camilla B. Sylvester (nee Aik) and Alfred W. Sylvester. Susan grew up in Thiensville, WI and graduated from Homestead High School in 1976. Soon after she began a career in modeling. She had a love of fashion that she transferred over to sales positions at the former Zita in Milwaukee and most recently Aversa in Glendale, WI. Susan had a creative eye and took great care in working with her clients, many of whom continued working with her at several clothing boutiques. One of her proudest moments was when she opened her own store, Bella Donna. Susan had her son, Christian later in life. Her later years were spent watching him grow up into a teenager finishing his last year of middle school this year. She loved Christian deeply. Susan is survived by her loving son Christian Michael Cardone, of Brookfield, and four siblings, Kathleen Sylvester, Kim Sylvester, Karen Sylvester (Greg Richards) and Peter Sylvester (Stacy); nieces and nephews, Karen Neidner (Jule Turke), Garrett Sylvester and Sydney and Elliot Richards. She is further survived by Christian’s father Bruce Cardone. A special thanks to Kari Gardiner-Cunha and neighbors Roberta and Jim who helped take care of Susan during her illness. She was preceded in death by both her parents. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, September 12 at Christ Church, 13460 N. Port Washington Rd., Mequon, WI. Visitation starts at 1 pm and the service will follow at 2 pm
