Sandra Luz Morales, Age 72, died surrounded by her family on December 23, 2021. She was born to parents Juana Martinez Morales and Ernesto Bernabe Rivera Morales, on February 17, 1949, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Her parents moved to New York when she was a young girl and she grew up in Brooklyn, Sunset Park.
She is survived by her two children, her son Charles Nelson Morgan Sr. and his children Charles Nelson Jr., Samantha, Kenny, Brooklyn and Marcel.
Her daughter, Tina (Orlando) Lopez and their children Erin, Isaiah, Maliya, Manny, Lauryn, Elena. Including two great grandchildren Axl James and Dolores Isabel.
Sandra had a big family and is survived by her sisters Zaida Lozada, Rita Morales, Petra Maria Morales, Elisa Morales, Josephine Morales, and brothers Emilio Morales, Fernando Morales, Gilberto Robles, Charlie Morales, and their respective families including many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto and Juana Morales.
Brothers Monchin Morales, Ernesto Morales, Juan Ramon Robles, and Armando Morales.
Sandra was well known and greatly loved in her family and in the community, many referred to her as Grandma Sandy and Titi Sandy even if they were not related, she was a friend to everyone. Her fierce love for her children and grandchildren were evident to everyone she encountered. She will be missed by all who knew her.
