Ruth Margaret Leffler (nee) Wagner

January 8, 1931-August 1, 2023

With profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and friend.

Ruth was born in Wauwatosa, WI to the late Marie (Stich) and Raymond Wagner.

Ruth was brilliant and was Valedictorian in High School and College. She won a National US History Competition which earned her a scholarship allowing her to be a proud Marquette University Alumni.

She was always Room Mom, Playground Mom, Girl Scout Leader, Den Mother, Choir Member and Volunteer Extraordinaire all while working part time as a Medical Technologist!

Loving wife of Robert for 71 years. Mother of Mary Wilger (Marc Nusholtz), David (Arlene) Leffler, Ann (Jeff) Dentinger, Jean (Ben) Winkelman, Judi Leffler, Jim (Beth) Leffler, Barb (Chip) Hodge, Paul (Taryn) Leffler

Grandchildren; Hope Leffler, Laura (Nick) Lucchesi, Sandy (Derek) Brink, Alex (Pete) Roussos, Samantha Winkelman (Zach Anderson), the late Jaime Bates (Megan Clarke), Andy, Dan, Mike, Katie Leffler, Will and Libby Hodge, Akasha, Joe and Luke Leffler

Great Grandchildren; Cole, Corben and Caden Lucchesi, Celia, Josi and Jack Brink, Kalli, Andi Roussos, and Raya Bates.

She is survived by her sister Mary (George) Witzel and brother Ray (and the late Judy) Wagner, many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial Mass and celebration of life to be held at a later date.

So grateful to Cindy for all the care she gave to Ruth.

Most important to Ruth was her family and her Catholic faith. She would want to be remembered not with tears but with smiles and laughter and a toast with a good Brandy Slush!
