Ruth was a caring person and she loved her family very much. She grew up on a farm and graduated from Menomonee Falls North High School in 1946. She worked at American Can Company in Milwaukee, Dutchland Dairy, and Kohl’s Food Store in Menomonee Falls.
After retirement she enjoyed volunteering at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls. She had fun on occasional gambling bus trips. She was an avid reader. Nicolas Sparks was her favorite author. She loved flowers and bird watching.
Ruth dearly loved her best friend, David Soliz. David was her next door neighbor when she lived in Jackson, Wisconsin. David called Ruth every day since they met.
She will be remembered and missed, but always a part of our hearts. A very special thanks to Oak Hill Terrace in Waukesha where she lived for the past 3 years of her life. Her family especially thanks the incredible staff at Allay Home & Hospice who provided love, comfort, and care to her. Hospice Nurse, Cindy Nelson, is an angel sent down from heaven.
Ruth Huebner’s family will have a private celebration of her life in the near future.
