Roselyn Marie McGrew

Roselyn “Rose” McGrew (nee Angell), peacefully passed away on April 8th, 2024, at the age of 83, surrounded by her family. Despite suffering a stroke six years ago, Rose’s determination to live, faith in God, and her son’s support were instrumental in helping her navigate the challenges of the recent years.

Rose loved her family, spending time with her grandkids, and going to all their various events and programs. She had a passion for reading and could never turn down a good mystery novel. Engaging in tennis, taking daily walks, and immersing herself in the outdoors were activities she enjoyed doing to maintain an active lifestyle.

Rose is survived by her adored son, Scott McGrew and his loving partner, Chris Schaumann; cherished grandchildren: Ryan McGrew (Rebecca), Sarah Viglione (Michael), Ross McGrew (Lacie), and Justin McGrew; great-grandchildren: Emma, Ethan, Caleb, Clara, Alaina, Aiden McGrew, and Matthew & Mitchell Viglione. Further survived by her sisters: Helen Lovick (Bob), Jeri Pantratz (Chris), and Kathy Angell; many cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold; daughter, Dawn McGrew; parents, William Angell and Gladys (nee Steensrud); step-mother, Mary; sister, Susan Saeian; and brother, Bob Angell.
