Robert Stack, 62, passed away on Nov. 30th at UW Health Hospital Madison. By his side were his wife Mary and sister Sheri. Preceded in death by his father William, Bob is survived by his wife, mother Marilyn, sister, Sheri, his son Christopher (Allison) and step-children Joshua (Rachel), Candice (Michael) and Jacob (Joelle), In-laws Gerald and Ruth, nine grandchildren, other in-laws, cousins, family and friends.
Bob loved adventure. His interests included music, where he was a member of several bands in his youth, travel, sailing, cruising, trips to Disney World, fast cars and motorcycles.
A lawyer by profession, Bob had many other interests. He started Melms Brewery, a craft beer tap room opened in honor of his ancestor C.T. Melms who is considered one of the first early Beer Barons in Milwaukee. Bob was founder of CLE on the High Seas, a legal education program that he held on cruise ships. These ventures started as businesses but his true joy came from the many close friendships that were created.
Bob’s good nature will be remembered by all who knew him.
A private memorial will be held by immediate family.
