Robert "Bob" William
Philippi
August 31, 1958 – April 9, 2026
Robert “Bob” Philippi, age 67, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, was born on August 31, 1958, and was called home by God on April 9, 2026.
Bob was a devoted father, grandfather, and husband whose life centered around loving and caring for others. He is survived by his children, Brad and Zach (Jennifer); his former wife, Debbie (Philippi) Lemanski, whom he continued to love dearly; his son-in-law, Nehemiah (husband of Sarah); and his beloved grandchildren: Joshua, Nesiah, Samuel, Liam, and Ava.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah.
Bob was happily retired and spent his time doing what mattered most to him—being with family. He had a deep love for God and found joy in sharing his faith with others. Whether it was talking about life, watching sports, trying new foods, or enjoying family game nights, Bob brought people together.
He was known for his unconditional love, his massive heart, and his tireless work ethic in providing for his family. Bob never hesitated to help anyone in need—earning nicknames like “Bobby Uber” for always being ready to run errands for others, and even offering “auto sit”—watching kids in his van during appointments or meetings. If someone needed help, Bob showed up—no questions asked.
He also had a special bond with his dog, Lulu, who brought him great companionship and joy.
Bob’s legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. He made people feel seen, supported, and cared for, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In honor of Bob’s deep faith, his family encourages those reading this to spend time in God’s Word and consider giving their lives to Him, just as Bob did. As it is written in Scripture: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
Bob will be forever loved and never forgotten.
