Rita M. Marthaler (Hummer)

('nee Vesely) was born to Rudolph and Adeline Vesely on May 11, 1937. Rita peacefully earned her Heavenly Wings on April 8, 2017. Preceded in death by her husband Donald as well as her former husband Ervin Hummer, father of her children Wade (Mary) Roxanne (Don) Donna (Bryan) Craig (Kim) Connie (Gary) Denise (Bob) Mark (Cindy) Kathy (Roger) and Eric (Tracy). Step-mother to Barb, Karen, Gwen (Dale) Chris (Steve) and Robert. Preceded in death by step-sons Russell and Scott. Rita is survived by her brothers George, Dennis, Jerome, Elroy and Larry. Sisters Carol, Rose and Marje. Preceded in death by siblings Rudy, Edward, Galen, Dale, Lavone, Adeline, Eldred, and Wayne. Rita loved and cherished all of her in-laws. Proud Grandmother to 33, Great Grandmother to 27 and Great Great Grandmother to 1. Special friend of Walt Anderson. Also survived by MANY nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rita retired from Mandel Graphic Solutions after 20 years of service. A Life Celebration will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. A service will take place at 12:30 and there will be time at 2:30 to share stories and memories of Rita.
