Richard Lawrence Collins

Richard Collins, age 87, passed away peacefully on February 1^st , 2023. Richard was born in Waukesha to Lawrence and Hellen (Howard) Collins, who preceded him in death.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Genevieve Collins; his sisters, Patricia Collins and Mary Coney; and brother, Michael Collins. He is survived by his sister, Suzanne (Tom) Dankert. He is also survived by his loving children, Shelly (Tom) Meccariello and James Collins; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

Richard was an army veteran, attended seminary for 6 years, and worked at RTE Transformer in Waukesha. Richard loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, he loved to read, and enjoyed classical music and making new friends.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 17^th, at 11:30AM. The Mass will be at St. Charles Catholic Church ( 313 Circle Drive, Hartland, WI).
