Ralph William Brunner

Ralph William Brunner of Pewaukee, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023, at the age of 64.

Ralph was born in Madison, WI, and grew up in Black Earth, before moving to Middleton, where he graduated from Middleton High School in 1977. He started his career as a teller at a local credit union. He quickly advanced to a position in the legal and technical department of the Wisconsin Credit Union League. He went on to serve as Deputy Commissioner of Credit Unions, for the State of Wisconsin, was a partner at Central States Mortgage, President at Premier Title, and eventually President of Allco Credit Union in West Allis. Thereafter he switched gears and started his own home improvement business, Brunner Tile and Wood, where he worked for the past 14 years. Ralph had a great sense of humor, a deep love for animals, and was a true perfectionist, which shined through in the work of his trade. He was an honest, fair, and genuine man, who was generous with his time and talents. He made a lasting impression on all that knew him. He loved and took his greatest pride in the accomplishments of his children.

Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Paula (nee Krolikowski); his daughter, Natalie; his son, Roman; and the family dog, Ruthie June. He is also survived by his siblings, Josie (Jim) Nelson and Tim (Christina) Brunner; his dear mother, Nancee (nee Olson) Brunner; and by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father, William Brunner.

The visitation and mass for Ralph will be held on Friday, September 29th, 2023, at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280N2101 Prospect Ave, Pewaukee, WI. Visitation will be at 9:30 am, followed by mass beginning at 11:00 am.
