Phillip Michalovitz

Michalovitz, Phillip - age 79, passed away peacefully at home on December 25, 2021 with his beloved wife of 42 years, Diane McMahon, by his side. Loving and proud father of Shannon (Dave) Cofield and Allison (Peter) Braun. Dear grandfather of Benjamin and William. He is survived by his brothers Richard and Bruce Sr. (Cindy); and sister-in-law Sophie. He was preceded in death by his brothers Harold and Paul. Phil was born in Milwaukee on January 9, 1942. He was a graduate of Riverside High School and a record holding athlete at UWM where he was named to the All-Century Basketball Team. Phil enjoyed the quiet country life, his faithful dog Brady, Steely Dan, the Packers and Badgers. His gentle kindness and guidance will be missed. A celebration of life will be held when the air is warm and the beer is cold. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha are appreciated.
