Philip Edward Stanton

Philip Edward Stanton of Pewaukee, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the age of 79.

Phil was born and raised in Maysville, KY, and was a graduate of St. Patrick High School. During his high school years he developed an interest in photography and was a photographer for the local Maysville newspaper. Phil’s career as a salesman was mostly spent in Wisconsin, ending with American TV and Appliance where he was twice honored as salesman of the year.

He is survived by his son, Gregory Stanton and daughter, Danielle (James) Heidenreich. Further survived by brothers, Charles (Jenny) and Gordon (Angie), and sister-in-law, Connie. The McKay family of Maysville was an important part of his life.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Phyllis (Myers) Stanton; brothers, Jerry and Paul Stanton; and sisters, Rachel Stanton, Janet Anderson, and Laura Thompson.

Phil was an avid golfer and was a member of The Bogey Masters golf league for many years. In addition to the league he spent many summers golfing with friends. A celebration with his golf buddies will be held later this summer.
