Penny Lea Stark

Penny Lea (nee Stengel) Stark, 79, of Palmyra, died Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She was born June 29, 1947, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Percy and Etha (nee Snyder) Stengel.

Penny graduated from Waukesha South High School and was a stay-at-home Mom.

She enjoyed spending time with her horses and dogs. She also enjoyed helping her sons show their animals and crafts at the County and State fairs as well as the many rabbit shows over the years.

She would not let you forget a holiday or your birthday. She would always send you a card and call you to wish you well.

She is survived by four sons, Thomas Jr (Yaqian) of Brookfield, Tory of Palmyra, Traecie of Palmyra, and Trevor (Connie) of Milwaukee, brother Michael (Jean) Stengel of Holmen, sister Kathy (John) Shockey of Bay View, brother Robert (Lynn) Stengel of Milwaukee, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Sr, father Percy Stengel, mother Etha Cook, sister Sharon Pohl, brother Peter Stengel and sister Cindy Cook.
