Patrick John Seymour

Patrick John Seymour, age 70, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023. He was born March 30, 1953 in Wausau, WI, to Norman & Rita Seymour(Bishop).

 

Pat graduated from Wausau High School in 1971 and served in the US Army in Germany for 2 years. Patrick was united in marriage to Deborah Berens on October 9, 1992, in Wausau, WI.

 

In the year 2019, Patrick retired from J & D Tube Benders, Weston, WI, a job he truly loved. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and along with his wife Debbie, took fishing trips to Alaska, Michigan, and throughout Wisconsin. Pat and his hunting friends took several trips to Colorado & Montana. He was also a fan of the Brewers, Bucks, and Packers, & enjoyed Nascar races.

 

Pat will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. He faced his four year battle of cancer with courage and dignity.

 

He is survived by his wife, Deborah of 37 years; son, Neil (Michelle Pliml) Berens; along with his mother, Rita Seymour, and brother, Michael(Diane) Seymour. He is a loving brother to his sisters, Cynthia(Roger) Osterbrink, Jeanne(Adam) Brummer, and Angela(Rick) Tillman, along with many other relatives and friends.

 

He is preceded in death by his father, Norman; brother, Anthony; and son, Jason; along with his mother-in-law, Merle Berens.

 

The family would like to thank all the caregivers who provided treatment and care to Pat and his family. A heartfelt thank you to all who gave prayers, cards, and help to Pat.

 

Special thanks to Angel's Grace Hospice House in Oconomowoc, WI, for the loving and compassionate care they extended to him.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held in Wausau at a later date.
