Patrick J. Pomeroy

Patrick J. Pomeroy, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed peacefully in his sleep on January 27, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on June 7, 1954, Patrick led a life defined by his unwavering love for his family and community.

A proud member of the Menomonee Falls North High School football team, Patrick earned the affectionate nickname "Boomer" for his prowess on the field. His spirit of determination and dedication shone brightly throughout his life. He channeled this passion into his career, where he taught CPR and first aid to Milwaukee County first responders, sharing his knowledge and ensuring the safety of others. He also worked as a construction worker through the Building Trades Union, providing for his family and contributing to the communities in which he lived.

Patrick's versatility extended to bartending at local bars, including Heebie Jeebies in Menomonee Falls, where he created lasting friendships and served patrons with his vibrant personality. Additionally, he spent several years as a machine operator at DiElectric, showcasing his remarkable work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.

Above all, Patrick’s proudest accomplishments were his daughters—Erin Conroy, Meghan Pomeroy, and Ashley Pomeroy. He cherished each moment spent with them and took immense pride in the women they had become. He was also blessed with two granddaughters, Ophelia and Kira.

Patrick leaves behind his wife, Lauren Pomeroy, siblings, Beth Brocker-Pomeroy, Mary Pomeroy, and his nephew Casey Pomeroy, along with his son-in-law, Patrick Conroy, sister-in-law, Marcia Pomeroy, beloved niece and nephew Stephanie Scherler Pomeroy and Joel Pomeroy; and an especially cherished friend, ("Uncle") Dave Schryer, who held a special place in Patrick's heart, having shared countless memories over the years.

He is now reunited with his loved ones who predeceded him in ultimate peace, including his mother, Marygail Pomeroy; father, Richard Pomeroy; stepfather, Bob Pomeroy; and brothers Tom and Jim Pomeroy.

Patrick's legacy is one of perpetual mischief, love, commitment, and community service. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, who could share a laugh with him, yet the warmth of his spirit will continue to inspire many. His influence will be felt forever, shining brightly in the lives of those who had the privilege of calling him family and friend.

Celebration of Patrick's life will be held 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm, Friday February 7, 2025 at Knights of Columbus, Water St , Menomonee Falls.
