Patricia Elizabeth Repka passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the age of 78 with her children by her side. 

She was born on February 13, 1946, to the late Kerwin and Irene (Boatwright) Riley in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is survived by her children, Matthew (Marnie) Schultz and Margaret (Sharif) Amin. Loving Grandma of Corinne and Olivia Schultz and Alexander and Nicholas Amin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kerwin and Irene Riley, and her brother, Robin K. Riley. 

She is further survived by additional family and friends, including loving sister-in-law Mary Lynne Riley, beloved cousin Bob (Karen) Mueller, and dear friend Tradene Kornitz. 

Pat thoroughly enjoyed beading and jewelry-making, often gifting her unique creations to those she loved. When she wasn't making jewelry, she was planning her yearly Candy Cane house. 

Pat grew up on the south side of Milwaukee and was a talented cellist and swimmer in her youth. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1963 and maintained many of her elementary, middle, and high school friendships for more than 60 years. 

The family will forever be grateful for the care she received from Crossroads Care Center and Legacy Hospice, despite the number of times she kicked them out of her room! Once they saw that they could gain her trust through the support dogs, she was putty in their hands. A special thank you to Marcia Meyer, NP, for her unyielding devotion to those around her - she was a comfort and beacon during our hardest times, and the family cannot imagine going through this without her genuine care and guidance. 

Mom, in the last few days of your life, we learned that it was possible to love you completely without completely understanding you, and for that we are thankful.
