Patricia Hoehnke

September 18, 1961 — September 25, 2021

Patricia Hoehnke (nee Bobier) of Waukesha, Wisconsin died on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the age of 60. Pat was radiant, warm, magnetic, fun-loving, creative, genuine, and enthusiastic for life. She knew how to make anyone feel welcomed and had the biggest smile and laugh anywhere she went. She was a loving wife, the best mom, and a playful sister. Pat was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 18, 1961 to Albert and Margaret (nee Amato) Bobier and grew up in Burlington, Wisconsin. She graduated from Trinity College with a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies in 1987 and went on to earn her master’s degree from Oak Hills Christian College in 1989. Pat married her devoted husband, Scott Hoehnke, on September 1, 1990 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and they had three daughters together: Megan, Elizabeth, and Sarah. Pat was determined to be the most loving mother possible and was most proud of her “three girls.” She was very involved in the lives of her girls – often serving as a school recess or field trip chaperone, organizing birthday parties, supervising the neighborhood kids when they would come over to swim, sewing school projects and Halloween costumes, and attending every school play and function she could. Pat was also a mom to every friend her girls brought home - offering warm hugs, a listening ear, gentle guidance, and endless movie nights. Pat was a top sales associate for Mary Kay cosmetics. She also worked as a retail manager at Madison’s and Marshall Fields for many years. Later on, she embraced new technology and opened up a successful Ebay store in the early years of the internet. Pat was a Christian and her faith was instrumental in her life. She believed in Jesus, God, and loving people regardless of who they are or what they’ve done. For many years she was an active member of Elmbrook Church, participating in retreats for mothers, attending Bible studies, and organizing crafts for her Moms of Preschoolers group. Her faith was unshakable throughout her life, and she fully expected to be welcomed into her eternal home when she passed. Her passion for life and vibrancy will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to experience the light she brought to this world. Pat is survived by her husband, Scott Hoehnke; her children, Megan (Dan) Chadwick, Elizabeth (Cody) Malueg, and Sarah Hoehnke; her brothers, Albert (Lisa) Bobier Jr., and Gene (Connie) Bobier; her father, Albert Bobier Sr.; nieces and nephews; and an incoming grandson. She is predeceased by her mother, Margaret Bobier; and sister, June Bobier. The family would also like to thank and acknowledge the nurses who cared for Pat over the years, especially Rita, Juanita, and Colleen. You will always be part of the family.
