Nancy Keirsey

Port Washington: Nancy Keirsey (Spahr) age 87, passed away quietly on October 13, 2021. Nancy and her husband, Ernie, owned Ker-Mor Kennels and Dog Grooming Shop in Mequon, WI. Nancy was also a dog breeder, show handler and judge whose love for animals was renowned. We will miss your “bigger than life” personality, storytelling and love for family. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ernie Keirsey, her son, Robert, her parents, Dorothy and Dion Spahr, her four siblings, Tom, Joe, Bob, Sally and her niece, Ellen Spahr. Survivors include her daughter, Carrie Roller, grandchildren, Laura, Sara and Brad, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews including Stuart, Doug, Amy, Leslie and Val as well as dear friend Jeanne. A private memorial service is planned for Spring of 2022. Donations can be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society at wihumane.org.
