Melvin Norbert Teska

Melvin (Mel) Teska, age 82, passed away December 23rd with family at his side. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Catherine Teska.

Mel lived most of his life in Wisconsin until his retirement in 2003 from the City of Greenfield Building Inspection Department when he and his wife, Joann, of 39 years moved to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He became an avid golfer and enjoyed making many new friendships. He and his wife returned to Wisconsin in 2019, where they lived in Watertown and were members of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Mel served in the Army as a radio operator during the Cuban Crisis.

He was the father to Sheila (David) Leannah, and Gary (Melissa) Cleary. He shared three daughters with the late Katherine Teska: Melanie Teska, Joell (Jeffrey) Cantrell, and Laura (John) Kariotis. He had 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
