Matthew J. Newby

The family of Matthew Newby of Waukesha, WI is saddened to announce his unexpected passing at the age of 47. Matt will be fondly remembered by his children Zachary and Rose, brother Nate, sister-in-law Nicole, stepsisters Julie and Jenny, stepbrother Jason, nieces Abigail and Arabella, cousins Kevin, Tony, Chris, Jacob, Kara, and Ben, aunts Laurie and Veronica, uncles Denny, Guy and Cal as well as numerous friends and family. Matt was preceded in eternal life by his loving mother, father and grandparents. Matt was personable and made friends wherever he went. He had several setbacks in life, but always persevered with a strong sense of optimism. He was a lifelong resident of Waukesha and graduated with a degree in marketing from Waukesha County Technical College. He had a long-lasting career as a Land Surveying Engineer. He mostly enjoyed the engineering and mathematics aspects of the job and aspired to further his education and career. He was also an avid runner and into fitness. At one point, he worked for Golds Gym. He truly enjoyed helping others with their fitness goals and made many friends in the process. Matt, your struggles on this earth are now over. May you find eternal peace… A graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, WI at 9 AM on September 10, 2021. Following the service, a celebration of life will be held at Frame Park in Waukesha, WI. The family requests memorial donations be directed to Matthew’s funeral fund (direct link to the left under his picture) to assist with expenses.
