Mary A. Jahnke ( Pavletich), age 89, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Mary was the cherished daughter of Cecelia Pavletich. For the past 60 years, she cultivated a warm, welcoming home in New Berlin, Wisconsin, centering her world around the people she adored. Mary found great joy in the simple pleasures of life; she especially loved spending quality time with family and friends. She was an avid reader and loved going to the movies, just as she loved spending time outdoors enjoying the surrounding wildlife and nature.

She is survived by her loving children: Scott Jahnke, Jeff (Joni) Jahnke, and Dawn (James) Ryan. Mary was also the immensely proud grandmother of Clayton Jahnke, Paige Jahnke, Sam Ryan, and Sarah Ryan. She is further survived by extended family members and close friends who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Cecelia, and her son, Rodrick "Rod" Jahnke.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary’s memory to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
