Lisa Jean Luthi (nee Hughes), 65, passed away Saturday, July 11th in Menomonee Falls, WI. Born on November 7, 1960 in Monroe, WI, Lisa was the youngest daughter of Raymond and Joyce Hughes. She went on to graduate from UW-Madison with an education degree and later received her Master's in teaching. While at Madison, she was given the honor of performing at the Kennedy Center. She was a beloved fifth grade teacher, director, actor, and a staple in the community. She was a wonderful entertainer and a gifted vocalist, always with a guitar in hand and a song to share.

Lisa was an amazing mother and a joy to be around. She lit up every room she walked in. She touched the lives of countless family members, friends, students, and strangers during her 65 years on this earth. She will never be forgotten and her spirit lives on through her children and grandchildren. 

She is survived by her two sons, Ryan (Lisa) and Christian (Caitlin); her former husband, Michael Luthi; her sisters, Vicki (Jim) and Sandi (Emil); brother, Gary (Cindy); as well as two grandchildren, Luella Joy and Aria June; and many nieces and nephews. She joins her parents, Raymond and Joyce Hughes, and brother-in-law, Jim Bosanny in eternal peace. 

The Service will be held on August 1st, 2026, at Northbrook Church (4014 WI-167, Richfield, WI 53076), with the Visitation from 9-11am and the Service from 11am-12pm, with a luncheon to follow. Information about the luncheon will be provided during the church service.
