Gerhard and Betty are survived by their children: Christine (Frank), Monica (Eric), David, and Angela; along with their grandchildren: Noah, Rebekah, Samuel, Amalia, Julia, Benjamin, and Melina. Gerhard was preceded in death by his brother, Harry, while Betty is further survived by her sister, Renate, and brother, Ted. Gerhard and Betty had many cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and close friends.
