Lawrence Willard Coert, 83, passed away on June 10, 2020 at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, WI. He was born June 26, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Willard and Blanche (Jilek) Coert. Larry enjoyed outdoor activities with his children as they were growing up including water-skiing, fishing and annual summer trips to Canada. He was proud of his kids and grandkids and supportive of all their activities later in life. Larry was an inquisitive man who enjoyed a long career selling and implementing water treatment systems all over the United States. He loved meeting new people and trying to make lifelong friends. Larry enjoyed exploring and reading, particularly about American history. He was a very enthusiastic conversationalist and enjoyed sharing his stories. In the late 1980’s Larry discovered his affinity for the southwestern United States while traveling in his RV with his wife, Mary. They later lived in Arizona for several years, always enjoying visits from family and friends, before returning to Wisconsin. Larry is survived by his children, Joel (Susan Pollich) Coert, Shelley (Daniel) Feagles, Paul (Lisa) Coert and Lesley (Gary Tsarovsky) Coert and seven grandchildren; his wife, Mary Noll Coert and her children Joe (Lynn) Noll, Vicky Voelker, Lenny Noll, David Noll, and Mary Beth (Bill) Milbrath along with seven grandchildren; his sister Lois (Joe) DiPerna. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Coert; sister, Joyce Hast; second wife Sandra, who had two living children, Rachelle Melloch and Kurt Melloch. Also preceded in death by son-in-law, John Voelker. Following Larry’s wishes, no services will be held.
