Kim Susan Ehlers

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kim Susan Ehlers, age 68, of Jackson, WI. A loving mother, grandmother, a remarkable woman, and a dedicated professional in the field of Nursing. Kim's courageous battle with cancer came to an end on June 26th, 2024. 

Kim is survived by her loving children, Tia (Jason) Marchand and Tara Ehlers; grandchildren: Ian, Alexandra, Dayten, Taylor, Connor, Alexander, Caleb, and Aiden; great-granddaughter, Madilyn; nieces, Shelley (Arthur) Sparks and Deana Ryan; great-nieces: Samantha (Jason), Chrystal (Josh), Hannah, Bella, and Mckenna; nephew, Christopher Ryan; great-nephews: Logan, Daniel, Mathew, and Baby Boy Harmon; best friends, Donna Ryan and Debbie Heinzelmann; as well as other close family and friends. Kim was predeceased by her beloved parents, Ron and Mickey Ehlers; her brother, Randy Ehlers; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Kim's nurturing spirit, unwavering support, and boundless love will forever live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her. Kim was a brilliant and accomplished woman. Her passion for nursing and dedication to understanding the health care field inspired those around her. Kim's colleagues and friends remember her as a tireless worker and a mentor to many in her field. Kim's work passion was long term care, she worked her way up to Director of Nursing, which gave her the ability to share her knowledge with so many. Both her colleagues and her residents, who meant so much to her, became like a second family.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Kim was known for her warm and caring personality. She had a generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. She loved reading, traveling, and especially cruising and spending time with her loved ones. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kim's legacy as a mother, friend, and nurse will endure, and her spirit will continue to inspire us all. In our hearts, she lives on, and we will forever cherish and honor the legacy of a remarkable woman who made a lasting impact on all who knew her. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lac Lawrann Conservancy Maurin Center, located at 300 Schmidt Road West Bend, WI, on July 10th, 2024 from 4-8pm.
