Kelly J Richardson

May 13, 1950 — October 15, 2022

Kelly J. Richardson found peace on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the age of 72, after courageously battling multiple illnesses for over two years. He is reunited with his parents, Celestine and John Richardson, alongside his brother, Scott Richardson. Kelly is survived by his devoted wife, Vicki Richardson; their loving daughter; Jenna Richardson; his two siblings; Steve Richardson and Mary Schadrie; as well as his nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Kelly Richardson was born on May 13th, 1950, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Kelly grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with his three younger siblings and graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1968. He later moved to the Milwaukee area and worked as a finance manager in the auto industry for many years. This led to Kelly meeting his future wife, Vicki, whom he was together with for over 30 years. In 1998, Kelly and Vicki welcomed their one and only child, Jenna, into the world.

Kelly was an avid hunter, who shared the love of the great outdoors with his father, John, and his sister, Mary. His fondness of duck hunting grew when he got a black lab named Jaco, whom he enjoyed hunting with for many years. Jaco was both a hunting partner as well as a trusty sidekick, which created Kelly’s love for Labrador Retrievers for the rest of his days.

A sports enthusiast, Kelly began playing hockey and baseball at a young age and continued his love of sports throughout the years by cheering on his favorite teams, such as the Chicago Blackhawks, the New York Rangers, the Packers, and the Brewers.
With a never-ending supply of jokes, Kelly was always able to bring a smile to someone’s face or a laugh to the room. Kelly was also known for his love of coffee and sweets, and could hardly ever pass up a slice of good chocolate cake.

Kelly’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. M Ali Raza and the treatment team at ProHealth Care’s Cancer Center for their compassionate care. Memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated. Private services to be held among his family.
