Kathryn Marie Kunz

Kathryn Marie Kunz (née Bauer) was born on November 16, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and passed away peacefully at Angel’s Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, on May 6th at the age of 73.

Kathryn is survived by her brother, Scott Bauer; her sons, Chad (Gwen) Wetsten and Brian (Sarah) Wetsten; her grandchildren, Ali (Pauly) Lietsch, CJ, Haylie, and Brayden; and her cherished great-grandchild, Everleigh. She is also survived by her close partner, Russell Kunz, who shared companionship with her for many years.

Kathryn was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered on her family. She had a bright spirit and an unforgettable sense of humor. She loved to laugh and make others laugh, always ready with a joke and a warm smile. She treasured time spent with her family, enjoyed a crispy, tasty beer, and had a special fondness for dragonflies, finding joy in life’s simple pleasures.

Her warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Kathryn leaves behind a legacy of love and strong family bonds that will live on through generations.
