Kathleen (Kathy) Melka , age 77 of Muskego, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 9th, 2026, She was born on May 7th, 1949, in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Kathy was the beloved child of the late Kenneth and Marie Bielaske. Although Kathy’s parents, Kenneth and Marie, preceded her in death, their love and the family memories they shared remained an important part of her life. She is survived by her son, Eric Melka, and his wife, Kim, who were a cherished part of her life. She is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.

Kathy loved spending time fishing on Nagawicka Lake, enjoying the peace and beauty of being on the water. Music was another special part of her life, especially the sounds of Motown. She could always appreciate a good song and the memories that music brought. She also had a deep love for dogs. Her compassion and gentle nature extended to every dog she encountered, and they held a special place in her heart. Her favorite dogs were her dog, Buffy, and her son’s dog, Rusty.

To honor Kathy's wishes, there will be no funeral service. We invite you to please privately celebrate Kathy’s memory in your own way.

Rest peacefully, Kathy. You will be loved and remembered always.
