Jeanne Mary Hammes

Jeanne Mary Hammes (Daleiden) of West Bend, WI passed away peacefully at sunset in her home surrounded by loved ones on September 10, 2019 at the age of 75. Jeanne was a graduate of Marquette University and worked in her early years as a Medical Technologist before becoming an active mother of four, homemaker, self-help guru and dedicated community leader at St. Mary's Parish and Grade School and Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, and Cedar Community in West Bend. Jeanne is survived by her children Patrick, Eric, Sara and David, her sister Joanne Shirkey, brother Richard Hammes, and her grandchildren Brian, Bridget, Valerie, Megan, Kyra, Declan, Alexa and Antonia. She is further survived by her dozens of beloved cousins, nieces and nephews, Daleiden in-law family and an extended network of people she nurtured as her family by choice. Jeanne was preceded in death by both of her parents Lorraine Clara (nee Pesch) and Joseph Matthias Hammes of West Bend, WI. Jeanne will be laid to rest near her parents and extended family at St. Matthias Catholic Church Cemetery in New Fane, WI.
