It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanne Marie Lord, who passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at the age of 89, under the compassionate care of Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the Oconomowoc Shorehaven Chapel, with a Celebration of Life immediately following. Burial will take place on Friday, November 20, at 1:00 p.m. at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Jeanne was born on June 10, 1937, to her parents Robert and Virginia (Henrichs) Pharo. She married Phillip Lord, a U.S. Navy veteran, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Madison, beginning a devoted marriage that spanned nearly sixty-five years.

The family made their home in Nashotah for four decades, where they created many cherished memories, before Phillip and Jeanne moved to Watertown for their retirement years. Following Phillip’s passing in 2023, Jeanne moved to Shorehaven Assisted Living Facility in Oconomowoc.

Together, Phillip and Jeanne raised a beautiful family of four children: Joseph (Constance) Lord, Julie (Robert) Travis, Janet (Marty Gostisha) Reagles, and Jamie (Tina) Lord. They were also blessed with five grandchildren: Christin Lord, Kathleen (Mark) Flores, Austin Travis, Michael (Michelle) Reagles, and Megan (Braden) Grimord; and one cherished great-granddaughter, Macy Jane Grimord.

Throughout her life, Jeanne was known for her generosity and her deep involvement in her community. She was an active member of the Hartland Chapter of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), serving as president for several years and contributing to many of its committees. Professionally, Jeanne worked as an Office Assistant for the Village Hall of Nashotah, and she was also a valued team member at Chuck’s Supper Club, Silver Lakes, and Golden Mast Restaurants. Alongside her husband, she also enjoyed the camaraderie of the local Moose Club in Watertown.

Even in her later years at Shorehaven, Jeanne’s passion for creativity and service continued to shine. She loved volunteering to help decorate the chapel for holidays and events, baking for those around her, and serving as an ambassador for her floor, bringing joy to everyone she met. Jeanne will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother “Gi-Gi”, whose love and nurturing spirit shaped the lives of her family. Her warm heart, giving nature, and delightful sense of humor will be remembered by so many whose lives she touched. Above all, she will be remembered for her love of family, as she is now with her savior Jesus Christ in Heaven and reunited with her beloved husband Phil.
