Obituary

Jason S. Vogt passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 47.

Jason was born on February 11, 1979, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to James (Jim) and Donna (Ma) Vogt. He spent his early childhood in Milwaukee before moving with his parents to Sussex when he was in middle school.

Jason was someone who truly enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved fishing and could happily spend hours on the water. He enjoyed cooking, listening to country music, and spending time with the people he cared about. Jason also had a special love for animals, especially his dog, Lucy, whom he adored. Jason was quiet by nature, but he had a great sense of humor that those closest to him knew well.

More than anything, Jason valued the people in his life. His family extended far beyond those related to him by blood. Over the years, friends became family, traditions became treasured memories, and Jason became a part of countless milestones, celebrations, cookouts, holidays, fishing trips, and everyday moments. His laughter, humor, and presence will be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Rachel Vogt and Edward Palczynski.

He is survived by his parents, James (Jim) and Donna (Ma) Vogt, along with many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at The Loft and Chapel at Cedar Ridge, N7W23827 Bluemound Road, Waukesha, Wisconsin 53188. Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. A sharing of memories will begin at 3:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jason’s memory to the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS).
