Janelle Anne Kruecke

Janelle A. Kruecke, 87, of Brookfield, Wisconsin, passed away on September 19, 2023.

She was born on March 8, 1936, in Kiel, WI. Janelle, a Registered Nurse, dedicated many years of her life working at the VA, St Joseph’s, and various nursing homes. She was known for her independence and always being ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need. Janelle had a vibrant personality and a wide range of interests. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, granddaughters, and her beloved cats and dogs. Janelle found joy in playing bingo and indulging in various crafts, including making earrings, jewelry, and gifts for her loved ones.

She is survived by her two sons, Ron (Karla) and Scott, as well as her granddaughter, Kaylee Jeff Habeck, and her beautiful great-granddaughters, Haylee and Aubree Habeck. Janelle is also survived by her beloved sister-in-law, Sharon, Paul Meiselwitz, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, "Don," her oldest son, "Robert," and her parents, along with many brothers and sisters.

Janelle's funeral services will not be held as per her request. Instead, she would like to be remembered through cherished memories. In her memory, contributions can be made to the Elmbrook Humane Society or HAWS.

Janelle A. Kruecke will be greatly missed by her family and all those who knew her. Her kind and caring nature, as well as her love for her furry companions, will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace.
