Jim Kellogg, 79, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away on October 6, 2023, in Brookfield, WI. Born on August 21, 1944, Jim was a beloved brother, father, and partner. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Jim had a fulfilling career as an optometrist, practicing in Eau Claire, La Crosse, and Rice Lake. He dedicated his life to helping others with their vision and was highly respected in his field.

In his free time, Jim enjoyed wood turning and was an active member of the Chippewa Valley Woodturners Guild. He found great joy in creating beautiful pieces of art from raw wood. Jim is survived by his brothers, Dwight and Scott Kellogg; his daughters, Meril Caceres and Lora Taylor de Oliveira; and his longtime girlfriend, JoAnn Clark, and her family. He was preceded in death by his father, Everald G. Kellogg; his mother, Dorothy I Kellogg (Chatterson); and his brother, Wayne Kellogg.

The Cremation Society of Milwaukee is handling the arrangements for Jim's services. Jim leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication. He will be remembered for his compassionate nature and his commitment to his profession. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
