Gerritsen, James R (Jimmy), passed away peacefully at AngelsGrace on August 13th, 2026. 

He is survived by his wife, Angie; daughter, Jackie; grandkids, Harlee and Bentley; his siblings: Jeep (Chris) Gerritsen, Mike (Sue) Gerritsen, RB (Judy) Gerritsen, and Greta (Jim) Artrip; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and close friends.

Jimmy was preceded in death by both his parents, Harlan Gerritsen and Jean Ann Gerritsen; and sisters, Kathy Hofstetter and Rachel Gerritsen.

Jimmy was a devoted husband father and grandpa. In his spare time he loved to golf and watch sports, especially Nascar and football.

There will be a celebration of life Thursday, September 10th at the VFW in Oconomowoc (830 E Wisconsin ave) from 4-7 pm.
