Isaac Nolan Farrell

January 17, 1993 — December 24, 2020

Isaac Nolan Farrell (Ikee), age 27, of Hartland, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2020, as a result of a fatal car accident. He was born January 17, 1993 in West Allis, Wisconsin. Isaac graduated Class of 2011 from Arrowhead High School in Hartland and pursued a college education thereafter. Isaac is survived by his parents Michael and Cheryl Farrell of Hartland; his sister Mackenzie (Evan) Gosa and his brother Evan Farrell and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. Isaac was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lawrence and Joyce Joel; his paternal grandparents Robert and June Farrell; and his uncle Jim and aunt Nancy Farrell. In Hebrew Isaac means, "He who laughs." Isaac was true to his name; his greatest joys were times spent entertaining others. As a child he was rambunctious and free spirited; he delighted in entertaining his family and friends with his infectious laughter and big personality. He wrote, directed, and acted in many home movies as a kid that his loved ones will forever cherish. His love for entertaining others developed into a talented gift for acting, particularly theater, and he played prominent roles in several school plays and at Waukesha Civic Theater. Isaac was inspired by comedians and aspired to be one. His ability to impersonate others was both hilarious and uncanny! Isaac was a true Wisconsinite. He was a die-hard cheesehead from birth and as a kid he spent as many days as possible wearing his favorite number 4 jersey. He also loved spending time out on the lakes fishing. He was never one for half measures; like all of his interests, he learned all about and practiced fishing with a passion, and spent time with his friends and family sharing his love for the sport. Isaac named his fishing boat after his favorite childhood fishing spot in Colorado, The Grand Mesa. Isaac was also an artist. His favorite medium was oil paint and he created landscapes, including underwater landscapes featuring native fish. Isaac also loved to waterski, dirt bike, play cards, and snowboard. Isaac always found a friend in others and put a smile on everyone’s faces. Anyone who’s spent time with Isaac knows his sweetness and understands his special ability to make whomever he’s with feel like they’re the most important person in the world. Even if it was damaging to himself, he would freely give away his things to those in need. Isaac had a soft spot for all animals and adored his faithful dog, Oskar. He was always searching for meaning in life and his death is a tragic end to the blossoming of a beautiful and gracious soul. Isaac lives on in loud laughter, tight hugs, home movies, and hope for the goodness in all of us to outshine the darkness. May he continue to inspire the childlike nature in us all. Memorial services are being held at Camp Whitcomb/Mason-James Lodge, W287 N8677 Center Oak Rd. Hartland, Wisconsin 53029 on Sunday, January 17, 2021.
