Helen Sue Moll

April 3, 1958 — June 23, 2025

Milwaukee

Helen Sue Moll, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, at the age of 67. A beloved mother, friend, colleague, and advocate, Helen’s warmth, wisdom, and fierce dedication to others left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Helen was the proud and loving mother of her daughter, Danika Lindsey-Moll, with whom she shared a deep and special bond. She is survived by her sister, Patti Adimari (Frank), and their four daughters — Lynn, Jill, Cindy, and Lori. She was also deeply connected to her dear friend, Cecilia Lynch and family, as well as her lifelong college friends: Val, Nancy, Mary, Maryellen, and Leslie. Helen was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Crosbie.

She leaves behind many cherished work friends and a community she helped build with compassion and heart.

A highly accomplished social worker, Helen dedicated much of her professional life to teaching at Marian University before continuing her work at Community Care, where she supported and uplifted countless individuals and families. Her commitment to equity and inclusion extended far beyond her career — she was deeply involved with United for Diversity and was instrumental in organizing events that celebrated and supported people from all walks of life.

Helen had a zest for life and a gift for connection. She found joy in bird watching, traveling with friends, relaxing with a margarita in hand, and indulging in her favorite cooking and crime shows. She never hesitated to lend a hand or offer a listening ear. Her love of nature led her to volunteer with Earthwatch, where she aided researchers and deepened her connection to animals and the environment.

Earlier this year, Helen celebrated her birthday surrounded by friends and family at a heartfelt celebration of life — a gathering full of shared memories, laughter, and love. As such, no additional service is planned at this time but we encourage those to keep an eye out for a possible service in the near future.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GoFundMe page created in her honor.

Helen’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the compassion she shared, and the community she helped build. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
