Harold E. Rathbun, Jr.

Harold (“Hal”) E. Rathbun, Jr., passed away on October 4th, 2024, at the age of 85. Hal is survived by his wife, Karen (nee Pedersen) of 45 years; loving Stepfather to Dan Stupek (Tina); proud Grandpa to: Craig, Michael, and Evelyn; and other family members and friends.

Hal was born in Westerly, Rhode Island, but lived most of his early life in Connecticut on or near the ocean, which he loved. He proudly served in the US Navy where he utilized his Electrical Engineering education. Due to the Vietnam war conflict, his service time was briefly extended. After numerous career moves, he was hired by GE Medical Systems where he eventually retired from in 2001 as Senior Material Logistics Control Manager.

Hal was an avid golfer and could tell you about almost every course and how he played the course. Whenever he had any spare time, you could find Hal practicing or swinging a club in the yard.

In Honor of Hal there will be a Celebration of Life to be held on October 26th, from 3:00PM to 6:00PM at the following:
