Gloria Baumgart, 90, of Franklin, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted mother, cherished educator, and creative spirit, Gloria leaves behind a legacy of warmth, inspiration, kindness, and endless laughter.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Gloria’s passion for art shaped her life and career. For over four decades, she served as a beloved art teacher, where she nurtured creativity and encouraged countless students to find their unique voices through art. Her classroom was a haven of imagination, filled with her infectious enthusiasm and unwavering support.
Gloria is survived by her children, Susan (John) Davey, Cynthia (John) Kagoshima-Lubinski, and Stacy (Tom) Hockel; as well as her five grandchildren, and two great-grandsons, who brought her immense joy. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher (2016).
In loving memory of Gloria, who loved animals, a donation can be made to the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha, WI.
The family will hold a private Celebration of Life.
Gloria’s light will continue to shine through the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
