Gary John Teeters

In Loving Memory Gary Teeters December 6, 1963 - April 28, 2022 Gary led a life of strong-will, adventure, and family. On April 28th, at the age of 58, Gary found peace after battling brain cancer (glioblastoma multiforme) for 11 years. He married his sweetie, Karrie (née Kunzelman), and the rest of the adventure unfolded. His legacy will carry on with his two children, Berkley (Mathew) Wymer and Mitch (Taylor) Teeters along with his two grandchildren, Ethan and Zachary Wymer. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Teeters. He is survived by his brothers, David Teeters (Susan) and Mike (Judy) Teeters. He spent his life showing his family that life is to be lived in the moment. On any given weekend you'd find him at Camp 9, out hunting, fishing, or working on a house. The love he carried for Karrie is a true testament to marriage and one both Berkley and Mitch look forward to carrying on in their marriages. Gary can only hope that his love of wrestling and hunting carries on with his grandchildren. Our family wants to share our most sincere thanks to all of the family and friends that were a light throughout Gary's life. We are thankful for all the life in his years, all the amazing moments he saw, and the support that was sent our way. A celebration of life will be held at Ironwood Golf Course, W270 N6166 Moraine Drive, Sussex, WI on Sunday, May 22nd from 1 to 4. The remembrance will be held at 2 p.m. We will be located outdoors in the Party Barn; so please dress for the day's temperature.
