Eugene J. Zyla was born to Lucas and Stella Zyla on April 2, 1931. He was 1 of 10 children. He was born to eternal life on December 25, 2025. Beloved husband of the late, Carol Zyla. Survived by his 6 children: Mark Zyla, Greg Zyla (Terri), Curt Zyla (Debbie Murphy), Peggy Vergiels, Shelly Schicker (Jim), & Dale Zyla (Brooke); 12 grandchildren, & 18 great grandchildren. Also Survived by his Sister, Pat Merrithew, and many nieces & nephews, other relatives, and dear friends he turned into family.

Geno “The G” was a very extraordinary man of honor. Built with the greatest strength, loyalty, and integrity. He served our country as a Marine, and worked hard his whole life. His purpose was to spread love and laughter. To know Geno was to be known. He took great pride in the family he created and adored. Geno loved his Brewers, Bucks, and was a huge Packer fan. He loved early morning coffee and his daily newspaper, yard work, flowers, random patio gatherings, a good mob story, a beer, teasing his grandkids, and his never overplayed one-liners.
