He was born on October 10, 1930 in Gallipolis, OH. He spent his childhood in Canton, OH  alongside his parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. After graduating from Timken High School, he served in the Air Force as a flight engineer. During his service, stationed at O’Hare airport, he met his wife of 63 years, Bernadine Graf. They raised their family in the suburbs of Chicago, and he worked as an auto mechanic for over 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, his cars, and Ohio State football. He will be remembered most for the love and pride he had for his wife, 2 daughters, and their families. He will be missed.
