Dr. Doralynne K. Metz, PhD

Dr. Doralynne K. Metz, PhD, of Brookfield, WI passed away peacefully at home on April 20, 2026.

A native of Grand Junction, CO, Doralynne "Dodi" Metz was the daughter of Buford and Evelyn Kellogg.

Dodi lost her beloved husband Dr John Rohr in 2025.

She is survived by her sister Nancy (Ed) Pierce. Her sons Kerry (Sheila O'Neill) Metz, Kevin (Lori Duesing) Metz, and Darren (Suzi) Metz; grandchildren Mark (Heather) Gundzik, Ryan (Max Harling) Metz, and Charles (Maura Gillespie) Metz; and great grandchildren Gigi and Grace Gundzik. 

Dodi cherished her life filled with family including her many dogs, dear friends, travel, cooking, and her lovely gardens.

In her professional life as a psychologist she was a focused and attentive listener. In her personal life she enjoyed talking and laughing with her many wonderful friends.

In later life she was deeply grateful for the support provided by her friends and many caregivers.

Dodi would remind us all to touch base with those we hold dear and make them feel loved.
