Friendship

Donald “Don” or “Donny” Anderson of Friendship, WI, formerly of Waukesha, WI, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on October 18, 1960, in Milwaukee, WI, he was the son of Silas (Sam) and Florence Anderson. Don lived a life defined by hard work, kindness, and a deep love for his friends and family.

Don was a hardworking man in every sense of the word, building his career as a glazier in the glass industry and taking great pride in his craft. For a time, he even established his own business, Don’s Glass and Mirror, a testament to his dedication and skill. After retiring, he embraced the simple joys of life at his place in Adams-Friendship—working on projects, taking long drives, and spending days alongside his four-legged companion, Milo.

Don cherished every moment he shared with the people he loved, whether it was growing up alongside his siblings and nieces or raising his two daughters. From hosting lively gatherings filled with stories to sparking conversations with anyone he crossed paths with; he found joy in every connection. His presence could light up a room; his jokes would never end, and his kindness knew no limits. If someone needed help, he was there ready to lend a hand or give the shirt off his back without hesitation. Known for his love of motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, and anything with a little thrill, Don believed life was meant to be enjoyed. He was an avid outdoorsman for most of his life, with a love for hunting, fishing, and simply being outside. He passed on the values of determination and unwavering strength — lessons taught to him by his father—to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Florence (Roatch) Anderson; his daughters, Cassandra and Danielle Anderson; his siblings, Delana (Alan) Hebbring, Gayle (Richard) Rajchel, Alan Anderson, and Nadine (Richard) Binkowski; along with many cherished nieces, nephews and friends. Don was preceded in death by his father, Sam Anderson.

He will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on in the laughter he shared, the lessons he taught and the love he gave so freely.

A celebration of life will be held at Fuzzy’s Southside (1726 S West Ave Waukesha, WI 53189) on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
